World Worm-Charming Championships, The UK

Every year, England hosts the World Worm Charming Championships. The goal of the participants is to see who can catch the most worms in a set length of time. The event started in 1980 and has happened every year since. The Friends of Willaston School Association runs the event, and people from all over the world come to compete. There are three people on each team in the competition.
They shake the fork in the ground to get worms to come out, and then they put them in a special container. The crew that catches the most worms in the time given is the winner.
