Air Guitar Championship - The US and Finland

There are air guitar championships in the US every year, and Finland hosts the world championships. This one-of-a-kind contest, as you may have guessed, is all about playing air guitar in the style of heavy metal. Since 1996, the event has taken place every year and is open to people of all ages and genders. People from all across the United States come to compete for the title of national champion in air guitar.
The winner of this event goes on to the World Championships in Oulu, Finland. A group of famous people judges the event based on how well the contestants can do technical things, how well they can imitate others, how well they can perform on stage, and how "Airy" they are overall.
