Noise Description Instructions

Have you ever heard your appliance make a strange noise and not known why? So you're too terrified to do anything about it. In the end, the appliance dies because of this. This is the worst. That's why we like that this original poster's new fridge came with a set of "noise instructions." We have to admit that we're not sure what all of these noise descriptors mean or how they relate to each other.
We spent some time going through the initial remarks to gain a better idea of what was going on. One person remarked that the crack noise happened because "the materials that make up the whole fridge were expanding and contracting." Who knew?
