This Weird Bridge on the Chinese Border Has A Strange Story

This is the line that separates China from Macau, which used to be a Portuguese territory and was handed to China in 1999. That's OK, but the problem is that people in Macau drove on the left side of the road, while people in mainland China drove on the right. So, this bridge was built to fit that unique need, letting traffic alternate lanes between Macau and the mainland.

So that's pretty much all there is to know about the strange bridge. It's odd to believe that drivers in Macau switch between different driving codes. That must be hard to understand.
