This Small Town Is Both Dutch and Belgian
To say the least, Barle-Nassua is a peculiar place. Because of some crazy border problems that only happen in Europe, part of the town is in the Netherlands and part of it is in Belgium. This is obviously one of those things that can only happen because European countries don't have strict border rules and don't keep an eye on their borders. You may call it a geographical anomaly.
It's strange to believe that some Cafes can be open in two nations at once. One table might be on the Dutch side and the other on the Belgian side. That's strange.
