This Library Was Built Along the U. S. - Canada Border

You don't see libraries built on the border of two countries that are fighting all the time (and we all know that the U.S. and Canada are crazy rivals). At the very least, it's a strange thing that happened. The exact line of the border was drawn across the library floor, which made it clear to anyone who was paying attention where the U.S. ends and Canada begins.

We can only hope that the people of Canada and the U.S., two great countries, can find a way to live together in this peaceful place of knowledge. We really like libraries.
