5. Dolphins


Dolphins have the second biggest brains compared to their size, after humans. Because of this, they can do some pretty amazing things, like show that they are aware of themselves, solve issues on their alone and in a group, and show nuanced emotions like empathy, pain, and joy. They can even teach each other skills that they have already learned. These animals are starting to sound a lot like people with fins! Researchers say that mimicking human behavior is the most astounding thing they can achieve with their brains.
