2. Goats

People don't usually think of goats as smart animals, but they are. They are also incredibly curious about the world around them. When a goat sees something new, it won't try to run away from it; instead, it will go over to check it out. A mechanical puzzle test was the best example of this. A goat had to figure out how to open a mechanical box to get a piece of fruit. The scientist who was watching the test was shocked that the goat figured it out so quickly!
