China has the most people of any country in the world, yet it is also one of the most geographically diverse countries on Earth. There are thousands of different kinds of birds, mammals, plants, reptiles, and fish that live in these many distinct areas of the country. There is no doubt that China deserves a spot on this list. It has everything from the tropical rainforests in Yunnan to the seemingly endless Gobi desert.
