#1 Brazil


You might have predicted it, or you might not have. Either way, Brazil is still the most biodiverse area on Earth. This shouldn't be a surprise, given how big the country is and how many amazing ecosystems are found there. We should also talk about the Amazon and the Mata Atlantica, which are its two biggest rainforests. They are home to around 20% of all the plants on Earth! Brazil also has the second most mammals and amphibians and the third most birds, reptiles, and fish.
