From Tilda Swinton To Madame D.

Mark Coulier, a makeup artist who had worked on movies like Harry Potter, turned Tilda Swinton into an 84-year-old Madame in The Grand Budapest Hotel. To make her skin look older, he used a soft silicone rubber that dissolved into the skin.

Coulier and Frances Hannon, who did the hair, both won Oscars for their efforts. Hannon came up with the idea of having the lipstick look like it was messed up, like an old lady would do.
