From Bill Skarsgård To Pennywise

Bill Skarsgård played Pennywise in the 2017 movie version of Stephen King's book It. The makeup was much more complicated this time. Director Andy Muschetti wanted the clown to resemble more like a child, so they added prosthetics to Skarsgård's cheeks to make them look bigger.

Skarsgård noted that after studying how hyenas and bears move, he was able to bring out a lot of the child-like elements in his acting. He donned artificial teeth and yellow contacts to make himself look more demonic.
