Kipu Falls is a very popular tourist spot, but it's also where a lot of people died. But the specific cause of the deaths is still unknown; many people died in the waves. One possible reason for the drownings is because this region gets a lot of tourists, which makes these kinds of things more likely to happen. Still, it's better to be cautious than sorry.
