11. The Ganges River


Hindus place a lot of importance on the Ganges River. People think that swimming in the river will wash away their sins, hence it is seen as holy. But because to industrialization, Riven G Channel has become one of the most unsafe places to swim. The Ganges River has gotten so polluted because of industrialization that swimming in it could give you a lot of diseases you didn't expect. It has everything in it, from trash and plastic to poop.
