This Unrecognized Country Uses Plastic Chips as Currency
This picture displays the money of a little-known place named Transnistria, which is formally known as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The problem is that this republic broke away from Moldova, but no one has officially recognized it as an independent country yet. This has caused a lot of problems on both sides. One of these is the country's money, which you can see is made out of plastic chips.
Plastic chips make up the country's real money. Well, isn't it something? We only hope they have a way to keep people from making bogus ones.
