This Should Have Been a Simple Yellow Line

Before you start making fun of these Wizard of Oz enthusiasts for what seems like trying to paint the yellow brick road, know that painting roads is a grueling job. Ask any worker on the road. They'll tell you all about how they had to stand in the hot sun for hours on end, avoiding automobiles and trucks while they worked. And don't forget about the scent of the paint, which is a deadly mix that can make anyone dizzy.

But at least they get to wear a snazzy vest that reflects light. That's the actual reward, isn't it? But you know what they say: "No pain, no gain." Or in this case, no paint, no benefit.
