This tale proves that everyone knows that dogs are the best thing in the world. A dog in Colombia observed youngsters use money to buy cookies. The dog assumed the green banknotes and the green leaves on the trees around him were related, so he tried it. The baker was happy to take the leaves from him when he got to the stall with them in his mouth.
The dog kept getting leaves off the tree in exchange for the tasty goodies since he was able to pay with his "banknotes." He has kept up this trade ever since.
