Married Couple Reunited After 60 Years Apart

It's not unusual for soldiers to marry their sweethearts before they go to war. This is typically because of the many perks that spouses of deployed service members get. So it wasn't surprising that this Russian couple was married just three days before her husband left to join the Red Army. Sadly, they couldn't find each other for decades after he went to war.
This narrative has a joyful ending, which is good. They both unexpectedly chose to go back to their hometown for a visit after 60 years. The two lovebirds found one other again after being married for decades.
