The Clean up That Allowed Thousands of Turtles to Be Born

We are now better at cleaning up the messes we make because people are more aware of how we affect the environment. For instance, Versova Beach in Mumbai needed to be cleaned up badly. It took them almost two years to clean up, but it was well worth it. Sea turtles could once again lay their eggs on the sandy coasts after the beach was clean.
After this beach was cleaned up, the people who lived surrounding Mumbai watched hundreds of thousands of sea turtle eggs hatch. The baby sea turtles were then able to start their lives.
