The Orphan Kangaroo and His Teddy Bear

People frequently think of tragedies like being orphaned as something that happen to people, but they can also happen in the wild. "Doodlebug" was a baby kangaroo who lost his mother when he was quite young. The newborn kangaroo was very sad, and when he saw a person, he quickly opened his arms, as if he wanted to be hugged. Later, his savior gave him a teddy bear, and he wouldn't let go of it.
The kangaroo kept hugging the teddy bear. Giving the stuffed animal the love and care that he needed so much from parents who were no longer there.
