Steve Buscemi is well-known for his roles in movies like Armageddon and Reservoir Dogs. But the actor is also famous for becoming a firefighter in New York City in the early 1980s. The actor went to New York City to help out as a firefighter during the terrible 9/11 assaults on the Twin Towers. He worked 12-hour shifts for several days while the firefighters looked for survivors in the wreckage.
