Father Kills a Man and Walks Away Free

Texas is a free state in the southern part of the United States. A dad and his little kid live in Texas. Unfortunately, an adult male assaulted this small child while she was just five years old. When the father found out about this terrible thing, he did something that made sense: he pursued the rapist and beat him to death. The Texas court did not charge the father with anything.
The grand jury that looked into the matter said that the father could use deadly force to protect his daughter, and we completely agree.
