We Will No Longer Be Using the Term "skunk"

If you work at a park, you probably need to have a sense of humor. This sign at the park says not to pet the "fart squirrels." It also has a picture of a skunk on it. We never really thought about it before, but that's pretty much all they are. We also didn't realize that skunks will walk up to people they don't know just to be petted.
Shouldn't wild animals be scared of people by nature? Maybe this is a problem that keeps happening, which would explain the funny sign and why it was needed in the first place.
