A Terrifying Fish

First, we mistook this horrifying-looking creature in the photo for a giant reptile. But, in fact, it's a shark. A frilled shark, to be precise. It's found in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and is extremely rare with its long snake-like body. We can't help but stare at those deep penetrating eyes and thin spiky teeth - it's enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! They are primarily found in the deeper and darker parts of the ocean, and while their 4-5 feet long appearance might alarm you, they aren't aggressive toward humans. But despite that, we'd still run a mile!
