Is It A Reptile? Is It A Giant Fish? Guess We'll Never Know

Crocodiles aren't known for their friendly natures. Typically, they're found in rivers, lakes, swamps, and wetlands, and they can be as long as 5.5m. But, thankfully, what we're looking at here isn't the mammal-eating reptile but a sturgeon. The fish rivals the crocodile for size, ranging from 2.5m to 5.5m. However, they don't have scales, and their bodies are somewhat elongated. You'll unlikely come across one of these fish in person. That's because they’re now estimated to be a threatened species due to overfishing, but if you are on the Eurasian or North American coast, you might be in luck.
