Getting a Kiss From a Lamprey

If you haven't heard about a lamprey until today, consider this your lucky day. Your life will probably continue on like normal after learning about this creature, but you will be the wiser. The sea lamprey is also sometimes known as the vampire fish as they do tend to bite people who are swimming in the water. While their bite is not deadly, it can be painful and dangerous if not treated. Luckily, they don't actively seek out humans to attack and it is pretty rare to actually be bitten by one of these big mouthed creatures. So you can put most of your ocean nightmares to rest for now.
