The high-tech world is an animal of its own. Some of the different roles and positions at high-tech companies don't exist in any other industries, and almost everyone has a specialty that they're going to be known for. In the picture below, we see two of those different people perfectly proving what everyone already says about them. The consultant on the right is uber-serious and all business. And the developer on the left is a bit of a nerd who wears it on his sleeve. This doesn't just apply to IT departments, but really everyone with a laptop.
